Weekend Visitors!

Marcus was out of town this past weekend, so my Mom and Sister came up to stay with me and Sonoma. The four of us had such a fun girls' weekend, and my Mom and Sister were so very helpful with Sonoma! We had a wonderful long walk on the Waubonsie Lake Trail, and also walked around the Oakbrook Mall and went shopping. Sonoma's big accomplishment this weekend was her FIRST SMILE! =) We haven't been able to capture it on camera yet, but my Mom was able to get her to smile after making "oooh" faces and sounds at her. It was completely adorable and she has done it a few times since. Also, my Dad sent Sonoma her first turtle. Turtles are very special in my family because my Sister and I grew up raising box turtles, just like my Dad did. Here are some pictures from the weekend:
