Trip to Bloomington!

Last week was a busy one for Sonoma! It started with Auntie K's college graduation from Indiana University. We are so proud of her and excited to see what the future holds.

Sonoma attended the actual graduation ceremony at Assembly Hall, and she was an absolute doll. She sat in Grammy's lap the entire time and played and read books. After the ceremony, we attended a luncheon for Krista's school of graduates, and Sonoma did great during all of that too! It was a long day for everyone, but we were really proud of how well Sonoma did.

Measuring tape from Grammy's purse kept her busy.

After graduation day, we celebrated both Mother's day and then attended Krista's graduation open house. Sonoma loved all of the attention from everyone and was able to see lots of friends and family.

Sonoma loves her Grandpas!

Throughout our week visit in Bloomington, Sonoma spent lots of time swinging, taking walks in her stroller and having so much fun with Grammy, Grandpa, Grandma, T, and Auntie K. She even attended her very first baseball game at Bloomington North to watch her cousin play.

Visiting Great Grandma Spore one evening

Sonoma took a walk on campus for her first time and she loved the fountain. She also got her picture with the Hoagy Carmichael statue:

Sonoma always loves her trips to Bloomington and this time she learned something that really stuck with her, even now that we are back home in Chicago. Sonoma LOVES my parents' dog, Wilbur. She started saying "Wilbur" and now she even barks like Wilbur. The past few days we have been home we find Sonoma barking ("woof woof!") in a really low voice and yelling, "Wilbur!" We finally had to skype with Wilbur last night and she squealed and screamed and was really happy.
