Happy Halloween!

Today was Sonoma's 1st Halloween and she did great! I was a little worried that we packed too much into our day, but she was in the best mood ever. We woke up really early and drove to the Fabian Forest Preserve in Geneva, IL, where Sonoma had her 6 month photo shoot. We were also able to get some family shots, as well as some pictures of Sonoma and Dixie together. Sonoma came home, napped, ate & then we went to downtown Naperville to go trick-or-treating with Jen, Joe & Kennedy. We knew Sonoma would never make it for regular trick-or-treating hours since she has such an early bedtime, so we figured Naperville was our best option. A lot of the stores were handing out candy and it was absolutely packed. Of course, I had to match Sonoma and Dixie's costume. Dixie didn't love her costume this year, as she had a really tough time walking around. We switched her into her halloween ring covered in spiders, but then had to take that off after Sonoma pulled off 5 of the spiders! It was another beautiful, perfect, fall day and a great way to end the month.
