Surprise Visit!

Grammy surprised us and made a trip up here last week to help us out for a few days while we finished up the final stages on our new house.  Things have been beyond crazy and stressful for us, so we were SO appreciate to have her visit and help out.  

Sonoma enjoyed playing with Grammy and also had a blast at the mall riding the carousel and getting special treats :)

Marcus and I had our final walk through and inspection of our new house and we were so excited to finally see the finished result!  We are very pleased with all of our choices that we made throughout the entire building and designing process.  Now if only we could close our eyes and be settled in already!  Here are a few pictures we took at the walk through:

Packing with a toddler is NOT easy, although it has been cute to watch Sonoma try to "help out."  She will fill boxes with her toys and move them around and talk about how heavy they are.

Sonoma and Dixie are excited to be on vacation in Indiana all week with the Grandparents while we finish packing, moving, have two closings and multiple appointments to try to get things delivered and set up at the new house.  She is splitting time with both Grandma and T & Grammy and Grandpa.  It will be an insane week, but should be a lot easier without Sonoma and Dixie getting in the way.  Hopefully next time I am blogging it will be from our new home!  :)
