This weekend sure was hot, but we are NOT complaining. After an awful winter, a blizzard, and a cold, rainy spring, we will take ANY sunshine or heat that comes our way. After a long workout on Saturday afternoon, we bought Sonoma a little baby pool to use in the yard. The water was really cold, so I was a little worried about her wanting to get in to try it out. However, I didn't even have to put her in the pool...she climbed right in by herself and loved it!
On Sunday, we went to Griffin's house to celebrate his 1st birthday. He had a huge outdoor birthday bash, and the theme was "Balls." Chris and Christin did such a fantastic job with all of the party plans. It sure was a hit with all of the kids. Sonoma had such a fun time playing outside!
We thought Sonoma would nap on the way home from the party, but she was too entertained by eating her feet. She actually didn't take her afternoon nap on Saturday OR Sunday. Sometimes I think the excitement of DaDa being home is all too much and she doesn't care about sleeping.
