Today was the first really warm, super beautiful day in Chicago all year. I've never been so excited to get the family outside for some exercise! Marcus and I went on a good run with Sonoma and she had a blast pointing and squealing at all of the ducks and doggies. After our run, we took Sonoma swinging on her first outdoor swing at the playground. She LOVED it. She even cried when we took her out, but there was another little girl waiting for her turn on the swing.
After Sonoma went swinging, we took her to a shady spot in the grass to put her down for her first time crawling or sitting by herself in the grass. She didn't really like the feel of the grass and she wouldn't move! She just sat there and squealed for about 15 minutes. It was so cute to watch her touch the grass and feel the wind blow against her face. We still can't believe she didn't take off. Now if only she would sit this still in our house!
