Believe it or not, Sonoma loves to vacuum with Daddy. As a lot of you may know, Marcus is obsessed with vacuuming and keeping the house clean. The whole "babies are just messy" thing has really shaken him up. I stopped using the Baby Bjorn when Sonoma weighed 10 pounds. Seriously, it was so heavy and hurt my back and hips more than they hurt on a daily basis. Marcus, on the other hand, loves wearing it and started vacuuming with it a few months ago and Sonoma LOVES it. It's gotten to the point that when Sonoma sees Marcus open the front closet and take out the Baby Bjorn she starts crying and panting. She could stay in that thing and vacuum with Marcus for hours. It's so cute, I just had to share these pictures with y'all.
In other news, Sonoma had her 9 month doctor's appointment yesterday and it went great! This was the only baby check-up where they don't get shots, so we left the doctor's office in a good mood for once. Here were Sonoma's stats:

Doctor was very pleased to see her growth and was really happy that Sonoma can now clap her hands, wave hi and bye-bye, and is working on "so big." Our not so great moment in the doctor's office was when the doctor was trying to place Sonoma on the exam table and she was crying and reaching for her Cheerios in her stroller. As the doctor was putting her on the table, she made one last attempt for the Cheerios and stuffed about 40 of them in her mouth and then the doctor asked me, "Does she normally eat a lot of Cheerios?" I'm officially the Mom that bribes her kid with snacks while we wait patiently in the doctor's office. Great. Then, on the way home from the doctor's office she fell asleep with her hand stuck in her snack trap:
